3-27-2018 -- Bill Kuhns, SIOR, assisted DH Machine in purchasing 1.37 acres of land on North Tomahawk Trail in Nappanee. The land was previously owned by Amish Acres LLC. DH Machine, which is located directly north of the land parcel that was sold, is a steel and aluminum fabrication business that also does powder coating. The company intends to use the land for extra storage for its business and future business expansion.

1-11-2018 -- El Tigre Golf Cart Seats is the new tenant in 14,000 SF at 2616 Glenview Drive in Elkhart. The company, which makes custom golf cart seats, leased the space from Glenview Properties LLC. FM Stone's Bill Kuhns, SIOR, represented the landlord in this transaction.
NeXus RV Buys Elkhart Facility
12-5-2017 -- NeXus RV is the new owner of the 26,736 SF industrial building on 2.45 acres at 2994 Paul Drive in Elkhart. Bill Kuhns, SIOR, assisted in the sale. NeXus RV, a manufacturer of Class C, Class B+, Super C and Class A motorhomes, plans to use the new building for pre-delivery inspection, camping simulation and on-site service. In August the Elkhart-based company announced it would shift to dealer sales instead of factory-direct sales. The company closed five of its own dealerships but will market its products through around 50 dealerships nationwide. NeXus was founded in 2010 by Claude Donati and Dave Middleton.
“Each and every unit we build goes through a camping simulation which takes around four hours to complete,” said Donati. “With the increase in volume we are going to experience, we want to make sure this process continues to assure the best product possible upon delivery.”
Tredroc Coming To Elkhart
11-9-2017 -- Tredroc Tire Services is the new owner of the 36,510 SF industrial building at 2208 Clay Street in Elkhart. The company specializes in commercial tires, retreading and OTR tires. Tredroc, headquartered in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, has over 26 locations in seven states. The Clay Street building will be Tredroc’s first Elkhart location. Its new building is on 4.63 acres on the city’s southwest side, close to State Road 19. FM Stone’s Brent Miller, SIOR, represented Tredroc Tire Services and Bill Kuhns, SIOR, represented the seller, Clay Street Properties, in the transaction.
