Bill Kuhns, CERS, RECS, joined FM Stone Commercial in 1988 with almost a decade of commercial real estate experience already under his belt. Prior to entering the commercial real estate field, Bill owned a financial services firm dealing in the marketing of insurance, registered securities and limited real estate partnerships. Today, with over 44 years of experience in the industry, Bill specializes in the sale and leasing of industrial and warehouse properties, and in the sale and development of industrial park sites. Bill has numerous clients from all over the world who rely on his in-depth expertise in commercial real estate matters. 

An avid seeker of knowledge, Bill has earned several designations over the years including the Society of Industrial and Office Realtor (SIOR) designation (in 1999), the Certified Environmental Risk Screener (CERS) designation and the Real Estate Cyberspace (RECS) designation. Bill is also a charter member of the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors (ICBR). 

Bill has also been very active in the community and has served on many boards for many groups including the Elkhart Urban Enterprise Zone, the Elkhart Chamber of Commerce and the Elkhart County Board of Zoning Appeals. In March 2009 Bill was honored with the Public Service Appreciation Award from Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney Curtis T. Hill, Jr., in recognition for volunteer efforts on behalf of the Elkhart County Interdiction and Covert Enforcement Unit (ICE). He has also served his community as head trustee and treasurer for several different charities and non-profit organizations.
