Spangle Fasteners Buys Goshen Building
5-16-2019 — Spangle Fasteners purchased the 9,750 SF industrial building at 1838 Hemlock Court in #Goshen from Riverside Investors II LLC. The company planned to move from its location at 815 Eisenhower Drive in Goshen to the new Hemlock location. Monroe-Spangle Fasteners is a full line industrial and construction supplier that specializes in MRO/OEM fasteners. Founded in Fort Wayne in 1974, Spangle Fasteners specialized in the local foundry market. In 2018 Spangle Fasteners merged with Monroe Engineering Products. Pete Letherman, SIOR, CCIM, and Brent Miller, SIOR, represented the seller in the sale.
Fabric Utopia Moves to Goshen
2-1-2019 — Fabric Utopia purchased the 4,500 SF commercial building at 2700 W. Wilden in Goshen. The sewing and quilting shop planned to move from its previously leased location at 2525 Toledo Road, Suite A, in Elkhart. The business, which started online, first began selling quality quilting fabrics, patterns, kits, etc. in 2013. Scott Griffith assisted in the sale.
Beltone Leases Retail Suite
1-15-2019 — Beltone is a new tenant in the building at 426 E. Bristol Street, Elkhart. Beltone leased up 1,530 SF of retail suite from ALC Holdings LLC. Founded in 1940, Beltone is a hearing aid company headquartered in Illinois. In North America, Beltone has over 1,500 independently owned hearing care centers. Pete Letherman, SIOR, CCIM, represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Beltone is located next to Mattress Warehouse and ABK Vacuum.
Clark Logistics Buys 603 Industrial Parkway Building in Elkhart
12-14-2018 — Clark Logistics Group is the new owner of the 150,980 SF industrial building at 603 Industrial Parkway in Elkhart. Clark Logistics warehouses and ships products for local manufacturing firms. The company has multiple large warehouses in both northern Indiana and southern Michigan along with a large semi trailer storage operation. Brent Miller, SIOR, represented the building’s seller (Zhisu Indiana LLC) and Bill Kuhns, SIOR, represented Clark Logistics Group.
