Hobson Assists Elkhart CPA
12-8-2017 -- Phillips & Company CPA bought the property at 221 S. Third Street in Elkhart from Charles E. and Beverly A. Talmage. The property is directly adjacent to the office building at 219 S. Third which the company also purchased this year. The accounting firm, headed by Dan Phillips, CPA, MBA, plans to use the property at 221 S. Third for additional parking to support its new office location next door. Richard Hobson assisted Phillips & Company in the sale.
Concept Therapy Opens Second Area Location
3110 W. Old US 20, Elkhart is now home to Concept Therapy
11-29-2017 -- Richard Hobson assisted KA Debicki Properties LLC in purchasing the 1,970 SF former bank branch at 3110 W. Old US 20 in Elkhart. The building, which had been on the market for 611 days, will be converted into an office for Concept Therapy. The company, which was founded in 2003, provides physical, speech and occupational therapy. This will be the company’s second location in the area. Concept Therapy also has offices at 524 E. McKinley in Mishawaka.
Hobson Assists Fabric Utopia
10-13-2017 -- Fabric Utopia (@FabricUtopia) has leased 2,325 SF of retail space in Suite A of the Shoppes at US 20, 2525 Toledo Road, in Elkhart. Richard Hobson assisted in the deal between the sewing and quilting shop and Heinrich LLC (the landlord). The business, which started online, first began selling quality quilting fabrics, patterns, kits, etc. in 2013.
Hobson Assists Mega Blast With 2nd Location in South Bend
10-3-2017 -- Richard Hobson assisted Mega Blast in signing its second area lease in less than a year. The new location, at 4401 W. Western Avenue in South Bend, will be more than double the size of its Goshen location. The South Bend laser tag business is expected to open sometime in November 2017 in the 25,050 SF space on the west side of the city. The South Bend Mega Blast location will feature a massive 10,000 SF laser tag arena, a 5,000 SF bubble soccer arena and an arcade. Mega Blast first opened in Goshen in November 2016.
